Statement Of Faith

  1. We Believe that "Adonai is our G-d. He is one G-d. He alone is G-d;" that He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
  2. We Believe that G-d is holy and eternal in His complexity; that He has all knowledge and all understanding; that He has always and will always be the same.
  3. We Believe that the Holy Scripture is the inspired Word of G-d; that Scripture is composed of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
  4. We Believe that Yeshua of Natzaret is fully deity*; that Yeshua came to mankind fully in the flesh and at the same time retained His deity; that Yeshua died, and rose again to ascend to the right hand of G-d.
  5. We Believe that Yeshua is the Messiah; that He has fulfilled and will fulfill prophecies by taking upon Himself the punishment for the sins of those who call on His name.
  6. We Believe that the Ruach HaKodesh (the Spirit of the Holy One) indwells all believers for the purpose of training and strengthening; that certain powers for the edification of believers and nonbelievers are given according to G-d's divine will and pleasure.
  7. We Believe that it pleases G-d for all believers to live according to His commandments in order to live a holy and righteous lifestyle out of their love for Him.

Tuition Structure

ABOUT Torah’s mission is to teach believers to discern the word of truth. Therefore, our teaching is centered on a literal interpretation of the scripture. To accomplish the task we rely on the original language, history, and the scripture.

In the first year, we require our students to dissect the Torah and glean the deepest meanings of the passage being studied. To evaluate the student’s progress, the student is required to comment on an assigned passage by critically dissecting it. Students learn how to dissect critically the scripture using history as well as theology. This way the student can learn how Yisrael, and the church have changed doctrinal understanding. They can also compare current doctrinal understanding to the doctrinal understandings of the past. Using these techniques, the students are required to write papers and prepare an on-line discussion. In the first year, students are allowed to critically dissect the scripture in his or her native language. In the second year, Hebrew is added to help the student in critically analyzing the scripture.

In the third and fourth years, we train students in the scriptural concept of congregational leadership. The third year teaching includes the roles of elders, pastors, deacons, etc. In the third year, students are required to meet the teaching Rabbis face to face during the yearly OMJRA conference.

The fourth year is reserved for rabbinic candidates. During the fourth year each student is required to work closely with a member Rabbi. This means that in the fourth year face to face contact is required at least once every three months. Face-to-face contact is the only way of determining whether a candidate is called to assume a leadership role in the messianic community. Face-to-face contact assures a measure of accountability before ordination.

All rabbinic ordinations are handled by the OMJRA. Therefore, candidates must adhere to the three primary requirements of the OMJRA. The rabbinic candidate requirements are: husband and wife ordination, Torah observant life style, and thirty years of age or older. The husband and wife ordination prevent unequal yoking in the household. It also gives needed insight in counseling situations. The Torah observant life style assures that the rabbinic candidate is a like-minded individual. Thirty years of age or older is required so that the candidates have matured sufficiently to be wise counsels.

To cover the expenses of an Internet presence, and computer upgrades, which includes software and hardware, we charge minimal fees.

Fees for Individual classes are: $40.00 per class. This price also includes a one time admission fee. The admission fee is only charged once. As a result, a first time student taking 3 classes would pay $120.00. A first time student who is taking two classes would pay $80.00. After the first session the records fee is discontinued. Therefore, a continuing student will only pay $30.00 per class. As a result, a continuing student who is taking three classes would pay $90.00 and a continuing student taking two classes would pay $60.00.

The easiest payment method for new students is Method 2 on the payment portal.

If a full time student who desires to pay tuition 1 year in advance is entitled to a discount. Therefore, a full time student paying a year in advance is only required to pay $80.00 per session. This comes to $400.00 for the year. This is an $80.00 savings from the $480.00 required for students who pay by the session. If you choose to pay in advance select Method 3 on the payment portal.

The definition of a full time student is: a student who is enrolled in, and starts in three classes per session. Class prices are discounted for family and group enrollments. To learn more about the family and group discounts contact Rabbi Yaakov at .

Sample Passover Reading Assignment

Understanding Passover

The first feast of the biblical year Passover. The month in which Passover occurs in is the first month of the biblical year, as stated in Exodus 12. As described in the Torah biblical months begin with the sighting of the new moon. Since predicting the sighted new moon is an estimate of when the sighting will occur, Passover can not be definitely determined until AVIV is ripe and the new moon is sighted. However, after counting 14 days from the sighting of the new moon, the full moon occurs, thus allowing the feast to be held during the brightest period.
